Publish Your Child's Book (As Drawn)

Your child drew it. We make it a real book. Your child draws every picture and writes every word, at home or at a KidLore library workshop. We turn their pages into a picture book, exactly as they made it.

We clean up each page, lay it out on crisp white pages, and add a title page, dedication, and About the Author page. You approve a proof of every page before anything prints.

Need pages to draw on? Get our free drawing pages, sized to fit the book, with a planning page, a cover, numbered story pages, a dedication, and an About the Author page.

Choose your format

• Paperback: your first printed copy (8.5 x 8.5 inch square, premium full color, glossy cover), shipped to your door.
• Home print PDF: a print-at-home booklet you print on regular letter paper, fold, and staple. We email it to you once you approve the proof. Print at Actual size.

Every format includes a listing in our store, so family and friends can order their own printed copies. You choose the royalty your child earns on every copy sold.

Your child's story and drawings stay theirs. Your family keeps ownership of every word and every picture. We only print and sell the book with your permission. Every book comes with a Certificate of Authorship naming your child as the author and illustrator. See our Terms of Service for details.

After checkout, your order email has a Finish your book button. Snap a photo of each page, upload them in order, and add the title and author name. Workshop families: we already have the pages from the workshop, so there's nothing to upload.
