Every book comes in a family edition with your child's real name. You choose whether a pen name edition appears on our public Bookshelf.

The characters

These details keep every picture consistent from the first page to the last.

Hair, skin, favorite outfit, anything that makes them them. If the character is based on your child, describe them here instead of sending photos.
What they look like and when they first show up in the story.
Describe how they look so they stay the same on every page.
Does the main character grow up during the story?
For example, "She isn't allowed outside the castle alone." We'll make sure the pictures follow them.
A promise, a secret, or an object that matters at the end.

    We only use what you share here to make your book. Uploaded pages and drawings are deleted after your book ships, unless you chose to save your characters for future books. Saved characters are kept until you ask us to delete them. Please don't upload photos of your child.

    1. We read the story and check that every detail fits together.
    2. You get an email with any changes we suggest, for your OK.
    3. We illustrate the book and send you a proof of every page to approve before printing.
